The closing night of awards season has finally taken place, with Hollywood playing host to the Oscars in Sunday night (28 February).

Stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Eddie Redmayne, Matt Damon, Cate Blanchett, Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Winslet descended on the Dolby Theatre in LA, as the showbiz world waited with baited breath to find out who picked up the prestigious Academy Awards.
With films such as ‘The Revenant’, ‘The Big Short’ and ‘The Martian’, ‘Carol’ and ‘Spotlight’ all up for winning the famous statuette,s it was set to be one hell of a night, but before the ceremony got underway, there was the small matter of the red carpet to deal with.
On the night, the stars did not disappoint, and the nominees were joined by the likes of Sofia Vergara, Sacha Baron Cohen, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, as photographers battled for the best snaps.
