Given how often most British soaps air, it’s easy to forget that the stars of our favourite shows do actually have time away from the small screen.
Nevertheless, they obviously do, but when it comes to their private lives, many ‘Emmerdale’, ‘EastEnders’, ‘Corrie’ and ‘Hollyoaks’ enjoy mixing business with pleasure. Yes, we mean they’ve also hooked up.

But while a handful of these stars’ characters were together on-screen, some of the other real-life pairings seem bizarre, when you consider who they play.
Can you imagine if Cain Dingle seduced Rhona Kirk, for instance? Exactly.
