David Cameron may have triggered a second independence referendum, after he deployed a really quite bad Scottish accent.
In a speech at the Scottish Conservative Party conference on Friday, the prime minister told an anecdote about the time he watched England's rugby team lost to Scotland in the 5 nations.
Having gone into a Edinburgh chip shop following the defeat and was asked by the owner: "What'll it be lads? Humble pie?"
The moment was captured by Sky News' Tara Mulholland.
Cameron used his speech to warn only the Tories could "challenge the SNP" and stop Scotland becoming a "one party state".
It is not the first time the prime minister has abandoned his Home Counties English accent.
