Woman Pushing Pram Attacked In Double Stabbing

A woman has been charged with grievous bodily harm after two women were stabbed within minutes of each other in two separate attacks, West Yorkshire Police have confirmed.

Andrea Woodhead, 52, of Idle Road, Bradford, has also been charged with assault and possession of an offensive weapon after the double stabbing in Bradford on Friday, The Press Association reports.

She will appear at Bradford Magistrates' Court on Monday.

One of the women had been pushing a baby in a pram when she was knifed.

The incidents happened 20 minutes apart on Friday morning.

Both victims suffered single stab wounds and were taken to hospital but were later discharged.

Police had been called to reports of a woman in her 50s having been stabbed in Scotchman Road, Manningham, just after 9.50am.

Minutes later, at 10.10am, a woman in her 30s pushing a pram was found with a stab wound to her back close to The Parkside Centre in Keighley Road, Frizinghall.

Police confirmed that the child was unharmed.
