It’s the whodunnit that has gripped the nation, and the mystery of ‘Who Shot Simon Cowell?’ took a shock turn on ‘Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’ last night (5 March).

With the Geordie duo on the run after becoming the prime suspects for the crime, the pair were out to prove their innocence during the latest instalment of the mini-series.
Ant and Dec were on the run
Their finger of suspicion soon pointed at David Walliams, after he announced he was leaving the country, seemingly distraught at the shooting of his beloved ‘My Simon’.
As Ant and Dec met up with him, they were (not in the least bit) surprised to see David in disguise as a woman.
But before he could tell them where the answer to the mystery of lied, the sound of a gunshot rang out, and the star fell to his death.

The likes of Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Louis Walsh, Caroline Flack, Olly Murs, Sinitta, Piers Morgan and Stephen Mulhern all remain suspects in the on-going case.
While we don’t yet know the answer to ‘Who Shot Simon Cowell?’, one thing we do know is that the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ line-up is starting to look very thin on the ground. Watch out Mandy!
