A member of the all-female Yorkshire Rows team, who was left embarrassed after ‘BBC Breakfast’ aired footage of her naked from the waist down, has claimed she feels sorry for the programme’s editor over the mishap.
The programme was broadcasting a segment on the rowing team at sea on Monday (7 March), when the camera panned down and briefly showed oarswoman Helen Butters without a thread of clothing on her bottom half.
While many people would be raging to have had their private parts transmitted to the nation, Helen has taken it all in good spirits, revealing that she told bosses that she was “cool” with it.

Speaking on Tuesday’s ‘This Morning’, where she was joined by her teammates, Helen said: "It is very common in the ocean rowing world not to wear anything when you’re rowing. I did feel very bad for that editor yesterday.
"That was my first thing yesterday, I just went to see him and said: 'Don’t worry it's fine, anybody can make that mistake. I'm cool with it.'
"I felt sorry for him."

Host Phillip Schofield couldn’t resist a joke, telling her that the ITV daytime show was going to air the footage and, saying: "And here it is now..."
Co-host Holly Willoughby quickly interjected, shouting “No! No!”, as the ladies fell into laughter.
The Yorkshire Rows set a Guinness World Record as the oldest all-female crew to cross an ocean, as they competed in the 3,000-mile Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.
They arrived in English Harbour, Antigua, on 25 February, 67 days and five hours after leaving La Gomera in the Canary Islands, raising thousands for charities Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre, in the process.
