‘EastEnders’: Maddy Hills Lands Her First Post-Walford Role

Nancy Carter will depart Walford in a matter of weeks.

Maddy Hill has scored her first post-’EastEnders’ role, and will be treading the boards in London later this year.

The actress’s character Nancy Carter is set to depart Walford in the coming weeks, and in the months that follow, Maddy will be starring in a production of ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’.

The actress will be tackling the roles of Titania and Quince, in the production at the Southwark Playhouse.

Maddy’s not the only fan favourite leaving Albert Square soon, as Himesh Patel, who plays her on-screen on-off boyfriend Tamwar Masood, is also leaving.

Viewers have seen Nancy struggling to cope in recent weeks, following an accident that could leave her baby brother with brain damage.

There’s no word yet on whether Nancy and Tamwar will be leaving together.
