Prince 'Rushed To Hospital After Emergency Plane Landing, Now Recovering'

The superstar had been travelling back from a concert in Atlanta.

Prince gave his fans a scare on Thursday night, having to attend hospital following a medical emergency that meant his private plane was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Illinois, according to TMZ.

The US website reported that the singer was travelling from a gig in Atlanta late on Thursday night when he was taken ill, and his plane made a diversion to land at Moline's Quad City International Airport.

From there, Prince was taken to hospital, where he stayed for three hours having treatment.

Following his treatment at the hospital in Illinois, he continued his journey home to Minnesota, where he is now recovering.
