'News personality' and general ranty man, Jonathan Pie, has summed up the London Mayoral campaign in just three minutes.

Interrupting a broadcast in which he is forced to use the words "election fever", the comedian - real name Tom Walker - argues with his producer about what's really going on.

He says: "And if you live in London you get to vote for a new mayor. Double election fever coming out both ends.

"The Tories election strategy this time isn't to diddle their expenses like last year, their election strategy this time is to insinuate that Labour candidate is a terrorist.

"He might be a human rights lawyer and he might have been a vocal anti-extremist his entire career, but a name like Sadiq Khan - you wouldn't trust him with a backpack on a Tube train.

"Whereas Goldsmith, he's a lot less "bomby".

Walker has said previously of his work: "It’s funny cos it’s true. I think the fact this is so popular is that people recognise an element of truth, that people think: Actually, he’s articulating something that I feel.”
