The University College of Barberan and Collan has invited a priest to provide a seminar in 'The Evil'.
The course will cover everything in the "fields related to the devil, exorcisms and being possessed and hell," The Local reported citing newspaper El Diario.
Roman Catholic priest José Antonio Fortea Cucurull, reportedly an expert on the controversial practice, will undertake the session.
In 2010, Fortea Cucurull defended the Vatican after the Papal exorcist claimed child sex abuse claims were the work of the devil.
He has also written an instructional manual on exorcism and others on demonology.
The university is connected to the Spanish military and Complutense, University of Madrid.
Exorcisms entered popular culture following the 1973 film The Exorcist, which features a Catholic priest attempting to tease out a demon spirit from within a young girl.
However, the practice is not limited to Catholicism, according to Wikipedia.
