‘Emmerdale’ aired a shocking twist on Thursday (12 May) night, when it was revealed that Gordon had been found dead in prison.
Aaron Livesy’s dad was recently found guilty of multiple counts of abuse, and the news of his death stunned his son.
The evening’s two episodes began with Danny Miller’s character feeling delighted at the news his name has successfully been changed via deed poll, making him a Dingle.
However, the shock news of his father’s death understandably left Aaron stunned, and many viewers felt the same.
Ever since the court case ended, Aaron has been doing his best to move on with his own life.
Speaking ahead of the verdict, Danny said: "So long as Gordon isn’t around him he can deal with it again. He’s embarrassed enough by it all so he wants it over with. He hates the attention."
