'Top Gear' Trailer: Chris Evans And Matt LeBlanc Play 'Car Tinder' In New Clip

'She's hot...'

Matt LeBlanc plays “car Tinder” in a new trailer for the upcoming ‘Top Gear’ reboot.

The American actor-turned-presenter is seen lounging in the BBC offices with co-host Chris Evans in the new clip, as his mind wanders to the motors he’s checking out on his phone app.

It all ends with a cheeky comment from Chris, who jokes to Matt that Glasgow is “not far” from London, when he enquires about one of the cars that has taken his fancy.

‘Top Gear’ returns to the BBC on Sunday, 29 May, with special guests Gordon Ramsey and Jesse Eisenberg being drafted in to make sure the show returns with a bang.

Chris and Matt will be taking over most of the hosting duties, following Jeremy Clarkson’s much-publicised exit from the show last year, with the Radio 2 DJ recently revealing how the rest of the seven-strong presenting team will be chipping in.

He explained: “There are seven of us on the show - six faces and one helmet [referring to The Stig], but Matt and I co-host the show every week. We are the hosts of the show and other people make films and then come in and talk about those films.

"So for example Matt and I have done a film together; Matt, myself and Eddie Jordan have done a film together; Matt, myself and Sabine [Schmitz] have done a film together. But the constant is Matt and myself – so the whole show is a two-hander with a back-up cast.

“They are all experts in their field, they are all true professionals in their arena of motorsports. They are the real deal. Sabine – real deal. Chris Harris – real deal. Eddie Jordan – real deal. Rory – real deal.

"The Stig – real deal, apparently… nobody really knows. But he can drive the heck out of a car - I have seen it.”

As well as being screened on the UK on the BBC from the end of this month, while it will also be streamed internationally on Netflix, putting it in direct competition with Jeremy Clarkson’s new Amazon Prime series, ‘The Grand Tour’, which debuts in the autumn.
