The episode saw Persephone’s character strike again, stabbing Trevor Royle to death on his wedding day.

After Nico’s attack, Trevor was determined not to let his bride Grace down, and went through with the ceremony before dramatically dropping dead shortly after.

Now, Persephone has hinted at what’s to come in the village, revealing that her character won’t be rushing to make amends.

She told Digital Spy: "I don't think Nico will show any remorse about this one. She just thinks it was the logical thing to do - there was a problem and she sorted it out.

"Nico didn't like Trevor anyway for how he treated Dylan. So this one just feels like a bit of a triumph, and I don't think she's going to show any regret at all.

“I feel like this third murder does definitely mark a change in her character. She's just so flippant with it now. Murder is one of her go-to scenarios whenever there's a problem."

In recent years, ‘Hollyoaks’ has seen more than its fair share of murderers, and the infamous gloved hand killer Lindsey Roscoe was recently killed by another serial killer, Silas Bisett.
