Rita Ora has reached an out of court settlement with record label Roc Nation, according to a document uploaded online.
The news comes following a series of snapchats from the star, who also appears to have agreed a new deal with a different company, rumoured to be Warner Music.
A document filed on the New York Supreme Court website (via Breathe Heavy) states that the singer and Jay Z’s label have reached an out of court settlement, following Rita’s bid to be freed from her contract.
The ‘Hot Right Now’ singer began proceedings in December last year, claiming that the five-album deal she signed with Roc Nation in 2008 violated the California rule that a personal services contract cannot be enforced beyond a period of seven years.
Roc Nation later responded by filming a counter-lawsuit against Rita. The outcome of this is not yet clear.
Meanwhile, Rita teased fans on Snapchat over the weekend, hinting that she already has a new deal by posting a picture with the caption ‘contract time’, though an official announcement has not been made.
The star has also been spending a lot of time in the studio lately, in between trips to Vancouver, where she's filming the next ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ film.
