The Blue singer was scheduled to start work on soap today.

Duncan James was scheduled to begin filming his role on ‘Hollyoaks’ today.

Instead, he is recovering after being rushed to hospital on Saturday night, suffering from complications, following recent spinal surgery.

The Blue singer was taken by ambulance to Charing Cross Hospital after a family member dialled 999. Yesterday, he underwent additional surgery and is now remaining in hospital under observation.

His band’s manager tells HuffPostUK: “We are all concerned for Duncan’s health and wellbeing at this time, but he is in good hands and has a great medical team around him.
