Commons People Politics Podcast: Chilcot Report, Tony Blair and Conservative Leadership Election

When will all the politics stop? NEVER

It was another busy few days in Westminster this week.

After seven years work, the Chilcot Inquiry’s report into the 2003 Iraq War was published - revealing what really went on in those years and months before the invasion.

Tony Blair refused to say sorry for taking the UK into the conflict, but current Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn issued an apology on behalf of the party.

The Tory leadership contest got underway, and we now know that the UK will soon have its second female Prime Minister after Tory MPs put Theresa May and Andrea Leadsom through to a membership vote.

This week’s quiz? Chilcot or Chilnot. Yep.
