He'll back on our screens in a matter of weeks.

Ross Kemp has revealed fresh details about his next ‘EastEnders’ return, which will be screened in August.

After briefly reprising the role of Grant Mitchell for Peggy’s final storyline, the actor-turned-documentary-presenter will be back in Walford again, and this time, he’s sticking around for a little longer.

Speaking on ‘The One Show’ on Tuesday (12 July), Ross teased the episodes, admitting that he’s had a rather bizarre 12 months.

“In the surreal year I’ve had, [I’ve gone to] Mozambique, Colombia, Syria, Iraq [for documentaries]... to Albert Square!” he said.

“What I say is if you can do them both, why not? Three weeks in ‘EastEnders’. The episodes I’m in are split over the end of August and September.

“It’s a very strong Mitchell storyline. It’s the Mitchells back together.”

Ross (almost) overshadowed Barbara Windsor when he returned to Albert Square earlier this year, and his surprise appearance in Peggy’s funeral episode left many viewers pleasantly stunned.

The Mitchell family are set to be in the spotlight in the coming weeks, when a shock death rocks Walford.
