In the long-standing tradition of filling up spaces in the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house with ‘Geordie Shore’ cast-offs, Marnie Simpson has become the latest name linked with a spot in this summer’s line-up.
No doubt hoping to follow in the footsteps of past winners Charlotte Crosby and reigning champ Scotty T, Marnie has been rumoured to be heading into the ‘CBB’ house next week.
An insider tells The Sun: “Geordie Shore members are used to being filmed drinking, rowing and even having sex so they are perfect to create explosive TV.”
Before she’s even set foot in the house, Marnie’s already been tipped for romance in the house, with the source adding: “Marnie is currently single again so there’s a chance she could find love in the house.
Marnie’s former ‘Geordie Shore’ co-star Ricci Guarnaccio also appeared on ‘CBB’ back in 2014, while Vicky Pattison is currently the reigning Queen of the Jungle, following a successful stint in the most recent series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’.
With just over a week to go until the new series of ‘CBB’ kicks off, the rumour mill is now in full swing, with Marnie said to be joined by housemates like US rapper Lil’ Kim, former Page 3 model Sam Fox and ‘Gogglebox’ favourites Stephen Webb and Chris Steed.
