Westfield Shopping Centre Stabbing Leads To Two Arrests After Victim Is Taken To Hospital

Two people have been arrested.

Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in a busy London shopping centre on Friday afternoon.

The man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital following the stabbing, which happened at about 2pm at Westfield Shopping Centre, in Shepherds Bush.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called at approximately 2pm to reports of a man stabbed at Westfield shopping centre.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the man, aged in his 20s and suffering stab injuries, was taken to hospital.

“Two males have been arrested in connection with the investigation.”

Retailers reported that parts of the building were cordoned off.

Westfield London opened in 2008 and is London’s largest shopping centre.
