‘Celebrity Big Brother’ viewers have expressed outrage after the show refused to air some of the comments which caused Christopher Biggins to be removed.
The actor left the show on Friday night for “a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public” but the events leading up to his exit were not aired until Saturday (6 August).
The episode did not elaborate on the full extent of his comments much to the outrage of viewers.
Comments he made earlier in the week about bisexual people during a conversation with fellow housemate Renee Graziano had been previously aired but since then rumours of other offensive remarks had been circulating widely.
It was alleged Biggins’ ejection came after he made a joke about Nazi concentration camps, which made Jewish housemate Katie Waissel cry.
The claims where published by the Daily Star, and an alleged transcript of the incident began circulating on social media and online forums but was confirmed as fake by a Channel 5 spokesperson.
Despite this, when asked by HuffPost UK, a show rep refused to deny the comments related to concentration camps.
A spokesperson for the show said in a statement: “Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
“Since entering ‘Big Brother’, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public.
“Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the house.”
Regardless of the nature of the unknown comments, Biggins also made another set of comments about bisexual people, blaming them for the spread of AIDs.
He said in a conversation with Aubrey O’Day and Renee Graziano: “Gays had been really badly treated, then suddenly they became respected. Then a killer disease came that was attributed to homosexuals. I think it was a bisexual disease to be honest.
“What they didn’t realise were a lot of bisexuals that went to those [third world] countries and had sex with those people and brought it back to America.”

Despite this he did have his defenders who compared his behaviour with that of other contestants.
According to the Sunday Mirror co-star Katie Waissel’s mother has demanded Biggins face a police probe.
Biggins’ agent has since spoken out to defend the star following his removal, he would “never intentionally cause offence”.
Jonathan Shalit told The Sun: “I have been close friends and worked with Biggins for many years and can confirm that he would never intentionally cause offence.
