Bomb Threats Made Against Two Brussels-Bound Planes

Bomb threats have been made against two passenger planes bound for Brussels.

Dutch journalist Bart Raes tweeted that one of the planes was his flight from Oslo and the pilot received the warning 20 minutes before landing.

Passengers had to wait 10 minutes after landing before being allowed to leave, he added.

Both planes have now landed at Brussels airport in Zaventem. The planes are now being inspected.

Both planes are understood to be SAS flights, one from Oslo and the other from Stockholm. They landed at 7.19pm and 7.37pm, local time.

Prosecutors are taking the threats seriously, Belgian state broadcaster VRT reported.
