Cruel jibes from bullies lead Bethany, played by Lucy Fallon, to begin over-exercising, and in scenes that air later this month, she’ll cause concern at the gym.
While Gary Windass is overseeing Craig’s induction, Bethany is on the treadmill when she suddenly collapses.
After regaining consciousness, she assures Gary that she’s fine - but will he be convinced?
‘Corrie’ producer Kate Oates revealed details of how things will develop back in July, telling Radio Times: “This is going to be a slow-burn storyline that we’re going to play quite gently over a fair period of time.
“We want to play it truthfully because it’s something that people are going through in real life.”
