Man Takes Wife's Photo On Honeymoon After She Loses Passport, Takes Hilarious Holiday Snaps Without Her

He made sure she was there in spirit.

A newlywed couple found their honeymoon period over before it even began, after one of them lost their passport before the flight.

Faizan and Sana Patel got married in December 2015, but planned to honeymoon in August 2016.

They booked and paid for their trip to Italy and Greece, but when Sana lost her passport before the trip she was unable to join her husband.

As it wasn’t worth both of them missing out, Sana convinced her husband to go without her.

But Faizan knew her would miss his wife and printed off a few pictures of her face to take with him (and make the most of photo opportunities).

The couple are seeing the funny side of the situation, using hashtags such as #SanaWasHere, but after their story went viral they couple found a light at the end of the tunnel.

Faizan, who is from Mangalore, India, tweeted a photo of himself to Sushma Swaraj, India’s Minister of External affairs.

Seeing his tweet, she replied asking Sana to contact her directly and promising to help the couple.

Meanwhile, Faizan is enjoying the trip with his wife in spirit.

Let’s hope they are reunited soon.

Huma Mobin went on her honeymoon alone after her husband’s visa failed to turn up on time.

After initially not wanting to go on her own, Mobin was persuaded by her husband Arsalaan Sever Bhatt to go on the holiday anyway.

She spent much of the trip posing for photos with a sad face and her arm around her absent husband, who remained in Pakistan.
