Just when we thought Super Saturday was going to be the peak of Team GB’s Olympics, Sunday proved to be an even bigger success.
We’ve now climbed to an astonishing second place in the medal table, pushing China down into third with some astonishing performances on day nine.
So get comfortable - there’s lots you need to know...
Rio 2016 Day Nine Highlights
Max Whitlock didn’t just win Team GB’s first ever gold medal in gymnastics...he won two in one day. He won titles in the pommel horse and floor event, adding to his bronze all-round medal from earlier in the games. His team mate Louis Smith also took silver in the pommel horse, adding to a brilliant British domination in the event.
Andy Murray became the first tennis player ever to win two singles golds. Things looked tight for quite some time in his match against Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro, but the GB player put his foot on the pedal to finish the match 7-5 4-6 6-2 7-5.
GB’s Justin Rose became golf’s first Olympic champion for more than a century in a match which was exceptionally close right down to the end. He was tied with Sweden’s Henrik Stenson heading down the 18th but a brilliant chip and putt brought him out on top.
Already guaranteed the top two places, the men’s sprint final at the velodrome saw GB’s Jason Kenny and Callum Skinner fight it out. It was Kenny who ultimately emerged victorious - although a case of mistaken identity saw many people tweeting their congratulations to a Canadian MP instead.
Mark Cavendish is currently sitting in third place in the omnium cycling event.
Sailing also proved fruitful for Team GB, with Nick Dempsey has becoming the most decorated men’s Olympic windsurfer ever after winning silver. In the Finn class, Giles Scott has all but secured Olympic gold with a race to spare.
Boxer Josh Buatsi guaranteed Great Britain a medal, making it into the semi-final of the light-heavyweight event by defeating Algeria’s African champion Abdelhafid Benchabla on a unanimous points decision.
Of course, Usain Bolt won the 100m, making history by winning his third Olympic gold in the event. The sprinter even had time to flash a grin at the cameras as he won his semi-final race.
The Sportsmanship Award Of The Day Goes To...
After beating Argentina’s Juan Martin Del Potro to win the gold medal in the men’s singles, you might have thought Andy Murray would have been busy celebrating.
But the Wimbledon champion was praised after pausing his winners’ interview to honour his opponent as he walked off the court.
Best Case Of Mistaken Identity So Far
Jason Kenny has claimed his fifth Olympic gold - but a Canadian MP has been enjoying much of the praise on social media.
Jason Kenney, a Conservative from Alberta, whose name is spelled with one more ‘e’ than the cyclist from Bolton, revealed he was getting bombarded with tweets from Brits thinking he had just won Olympic gold.
The politician even engaged in a mildly surreal Twitter chat with Ruth Davidson - the charismatic leader of the Scottish Conservative Party - involving kilts and and lycra.

All times are in UK time.
Cyclist Mark Cavendish will bid once more for an Olympic medal in the omnium event, which ends at 9.23pm with the points race.
Nick Thompson and Alison Young will compete in the sailing laser and laser radial events respectively, which have their final races from 5.05pm.
Becky James and Katy Marchant in the sprint at the velodrome from 2pm.
Laura Trott begins the defence of her omnium title from 2.59pm.
Charlotte Dujardin will compete in the dressage final from 2pm.
Keri-Anne Payne will compete in the 10km open water swimming event at 1pm
GB’s women’s hockey team will take on Spain in the quarter-finals from 10pm.
The Best Of The Rest
The women’s 400m will see the likes of USA’s Allyson Felix, the Bahamas’ Shaunae Miller and South Africa’s Caster Semenya competing from 2.45am on Tuesday morning.
The men’s rings event takes place from 6pm.
