"It's meant I've been able to break the cycle."

A fashion brand making vegan, sustainable bags from surplus army materials is taking on homeless people to teach them new skills.

What Daisy Did has teamed up with local homeless charity Northampton Hope Centre to “give something back”. A portion of its Wayfarer bag collection, which uses 90% recycled materials - all sourced within 70 miles of the workshop, will also go back to charity.

The business is hoping to raise £12,000 from a kickstarter campaign so it can expand its team and employ more people from the homeless centre.
