A number of high-profile celebrities have tweeted their support for Leslie Jones, following a horrific attack which saw her personal information and nude photos posted online.

‘Ghostbusters’ director Paul Feig and Katy Perry led the outpouring of messages, and so far, others stars to have weighed in include Anna Kendrick and Kathy Griffin:

News of the attack broke on Wednesday (24 August) evening, when TMZ revealed that Leslie’s official website had been hacked, with the photos being placed on the frontpage.

The site was taken down within minutes, and the actress and her team are yet to comment on the incident.

Since landing the ‘Ghostbusters’ role, the ‘Saturday Night Live’ star has not had it easy online.

Back in July, she left Twitter after receiving a barrage of misogynistic and racist tweets.

The incident led to Milo Yiannopoulos being permanently suspended from the site and Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey also issued a statement, vowing that his team would take steps to prevent similar future incidents from happening.
