The ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestants are currently in rehearsal, learning the steps to their first group dance, but there’s one person who is struggling to find his feet.

Ed Balls has admitted he is having a spot of both training, admitting he has been exhausted by the intensive days, and is having particular problems mastering the Cha Cha Cha.

Posting a string of updates on his official Facebook, along with some snaps of him with his co-stars, he wrote: “Just finished the first full day of Strictly training - eight hours rehearsing the first group dance - the professionals are brilliant and I am shattered - I thought running the London marathon was hard, but I don’t think I have ever been so exhausted...”

He then posted: “We’ve just finished Day 2 of the group dance rehearsals plus some group tuition in the basic steps. Conclusion? Waltz and Charleston coming along but CHA CHA CHA a nightmare... time for a hot bath...”

Oh Ed.

The former Labour MP will have also come face to face with Judge Rinder for the first time since the acid-tongued daytime TV star slated him in an interview earlier this week.

The new series of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ kicks off with a special launch show on 3 September on BBC One when the contestants will find out who their professional partner will be.
