Michelle Keegan Addresses Mark Wright Marriage Speculation: 'Everything Is Fine'

Michelle Keegan has finally addressed on-going speculation all is not well with her marriage to Mark Wright.

The pair have been dogged by rumours their relationship is on the rocks in recent months, after Michelle spent time away from him in South Africa filming BBC military drama ‘Our Girl’.

The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress also fuelled reports when she was spotted not wearing her wedding ring on a number of occasions.

Despite keeping silent on the reports until now, Michelle has insisted that “everything is fine” between her and ex-’TOWIE’ star Mark.

Speaking to The Sun, she said: “We don’t read what is written about us. Are the rumours rubbish? Yeah. We are all very good and everything is fine.

“I have been so busy and Mark has been so busy, but we have just had three days in Majorca which was lovely.

“It was so nice to have each other’s undivided attention and not to have to plan anything. It wasn’t like, ‘I need to be up for filming’ or ‘I need to do the radio’. It was just downtime.”

Fans will soon see Michelle as the female protagonist, Georgie, in the new series of ‘Our Girl’, which returns to BBC One on Wednesday (7 September).

Bosses already want her to reprise her role in a third series of the show, having replaced previous star Lacey Turner - best known as EastEnders’ Stacey Fowler.

And while it is Michelle’s career that is currently making waves, Mark on the other hand, has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons, thanks to a feud with Danny Dyer.

Tension between them reached boiling point at last month’s V Festival, when Danny claimed he was set upon by some of Mark’s friends, although Mark insisted he was not involved in the physical altercation.
