Michelle Keegan was the talk of Twitter on Wednesday (14 September) night, thanks to her star turn in ‘Our Girl’.
The actress has taken over from Lacey Turner as the show’s female lead, and while the ‘EastEnders’ star’s military boots are tough ones to fill, Michelle has managed to pull it off and seriously impress viewers.
The episode was the second of the current series, and saw Keegs’ character Georgie Lane taken hostage, with plenty of TV fans taking to Twitter to praise her performance:
The series is also making a star out of Luke Pasqualino, who plays Elvis Harte, a member of the Special Forces.
The cast filmed the show on location in South Africa, and there’s been plenty of talk about whether Michelle’s star quality - and stuntwoman abilities - could lead to a huge Hollywood role.
