David Beckham Challenges Son Brooklyn To The 22 Push-Up Challenge

The pair are raising awareness of veteran suicide.

David Beckham challenged his 17-year-old son Brooklyn Beckham to do the 22 push-up challenge to raise awareness of veteran suicide.

The social media trend, that sees people doing 22 push ups then nominating two other people, is to honour the 22 service men in the US that commit suicide on a daily basis.

Beckham completed his 22 push ups on a plane at 44,000 feet, then nominated his eldest son to be next.

Brooklyn accepted the challenge a few hours later.

He wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for the nomination! This is me accepting your challenge dad to honour the 22 service men that kill themselves daily.”
