Cronut Bakery Finally Opens In UK, Londoners Queue From 5am To Try It

The holy grail of the pastry world, the cronut, has officially come to the UK and it seems we’ve all gone utterly potty for it.

The croissant-doughnut hybrid, created by Dominique Ansel, is famed for causing New Yorkers to queue for hours when it hit Manhattan in 2013.

Now, foodies in London are doing the same.

Some people got in the queue at 5am...

At the queue for the Cronut bakery. About 50 people here. Some dudes have been here since 5am. For a pastry.
