There was a new addition to one of the ‘Gogglebox’ sofas on Friday (30 September), as Scarlett Moffatt’s boyfriend made his debut.
Luke Crodden joined his girlfriend and her parents as they reviewed the week’s TV on the hit Channel 4 show, and it seems viewers were just as smitten with him as Scarlett is.
Many took to Twitter to hail his arrival on the show:
Scarlett, who was recently linked to a spot on the new series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, later revealed that it was actually the first time Luke had visited her family home, having moved out of her parents’ place earlier this year.
She posted a photo of his appearance on Instagram with the caption: “When the bf visits the family home for the first time and it’s televised.”
Scarlett and Luke have been dating since April, shortly after she filmed an appearance on Channel 4 dating show ‘First Dates’.
Despite only being together for six months, Scarlett has already started thinking about marriage, telling her parents on last week’s ‘Gogglebox’: “I’m taking tips from each [wedding] I’m going to, and I was thinking that I might get a notepad specifically for it, but I don’t know if that’s sad.
“It’s not creepy is it? It’s just a bit creepy if Luke finds it.”
‘Gogglebox’ continues next Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
