Ola Jordan has turned down a “big money” deal with ITV, to appear on their upcoming show ‘Dance Dance Dance’.
The former ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ pro had been approached by show bosses to star in ‘Dance Dance Dance’, but had to turn down the offer, following “top-secret talks”.
She tells the Daily Star: “I think I’m done with dance shows now. I was offered the ITV show but I just turned it down.
Ola wrapped up her 10th series on ‘Strictly’ last year, and has now ruled out ever going back, adding: “I won’t go back to ‘Strictly’ in the future either.”
As well as her decade on ‘Strictly’, Ola previously served as a judge on the celebrity dance show ‘Dancing On Wheels’, alongside husband James Jordan, which saw Caroline Flack emerging as champion, four years prior to her ‘Strictly’ victory.
She also briefly signed up for the second series of ‘The Jump’, but had to pull out in the early stages of training, when she sustained a serious knee injury.
‘Dance Dance Dance’ is set to air on ITV in 2017, and was initially reported to be serving as a potential competitor to ‘Strictly’, which has repeatedly smashed its rival channel in the ratings battle.
Although the full line-up is yet to be revealed, it was recently claimed that Diversity leader Ashley Banjo had been signed up to judge, following his four-year stint on Sky’s ‘Got To Dance’.
