The Great British Bake Off winner of 2016 was revealed last night (Candice and her incredible lipstick collection, FYI), but one former contestant made sure all eyes were still on her.
Ruby Tandoh, who came runner up in GBBO’s 2013 season, revealed her dramatic new hairdo on Twitter. And when we say dramatic, we mean she completely shaved her head.
”Do what you want,” Tandoh captioned the snap.
“I realised I was always hiding behind my big mop of hair and pulling it over my face so I was like... bye curls, hello being unapologetic,” she wrote in a subsequent Tweet.
“Such a nervous, skulking lil cockroach before,” the post continued. “No more!”
Despite not winning GBBO, Tandoh has risen to foodie superstardom - publishing two cook books, ‘Crumb: The Baking Book’ and ‘Flavour: Eat What You Love’, and working as a columnist for The Guardian.
