Daisy Lowe has apparently become the latest celebrity to fall victim to the so-called ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ “curse”, breaking up with her boyfriend while taking part in the show.
As long-term ‘Strictly’ fans will know, the show has become synonymous with what fans have dubbed the “curse”, with a long list of celebrity contestants having broken up with their partners while competing in the BBC series.
It has now been claimed that Daisy can now add her name to the list of “curse” victims, which already includes celebrities like Caroline Flack, Susanna Reid and Rachel Riley.
The Sun has claimed that the model and her boyfriend, Bradley “Frankie” Wade, have ended things after five months due to her filming schedule.
An insider tells The Sun: “They could not find time to spend together because he is busy with shoots as a successful fashion model. They had a discussion and decided they were better off as friends.”
Bradley had been in the audience to support Daisy each week as she hit the ‘Strictly’ dance floor, and as recently as this week she appeared on ‘Lorraine’, gushing about her relationship during the interview.
Last year, Georgia May Foote fell victim to the “curse” early on in the series, when she and her former ‘Coronation Street’ co-star Sean Ward revealed that they’d called time on their relationship.
Shortly after the end of the series, Georgia revealed that she was dating her former ‘Strictly’ partner Giovanni Pernice, though the two eventually split earlier this year, shortly before the current series of ‘Strictly’ kicked off.
