Snapchat’s Spectacles are now available to buy, however before you can get your hands on one there’s a catch.

It’s called a Snapbot and it’s a vending machine of Snapchat’s own design. Now while some might called it “cute” we’re more concerned about that giant unblinking eye, watching, waiting.

Anyway, if you can get past the giant ever-present eye then you just need to hand over $130 of your hard-earned money, hit the colour you would like and magically a pair of Snapchat’s smartphone-connected glasses will appear.

There’s no word on when you’ll be able to buy them worldwide but one expects that after this small timed exclusive you’ll finally be able to get your hands on a pair.

What are Snapchat’s Spectacles?

In case you’re wondering these are Snapchat’s glasses with a built-in camera.

They pair with your smartphone and Snapchat app and then with the simple press of a button they’ll start recording a ten second video clip.

At any point you can just press the button again and they’ll stop recording.
