Two-Year-Old Comforted By Dad's Death With Teddy Bears Made From His Policeman Uniform

Heartbreaking 💔.

A toddler is able to remember his dad who died through two teddy bears made from his policeman uniform.

Blake Snyder, from Missouri, US, died in September 2016 after being shot while responding to a call.

His wife, Elizabeth Snyder, said their two-year-old son Malachi still doesn’t understand he’s not coming home.

“Malachi has been asking for his daddy a lot which is hard,” his wife, Elizabeth Snyder, told KTVI. “I don’t know how to respond to him yet.”

As a keepsake, Snyder had Malachi two teddy bears made from his dad’s uniform.

Uploading the photo to Facebook on 30 November, Snyder wrote: “These beautiful bears were made for us from Blake’s uniforms.

“He loved Chi with every fibre of his being and wanted the world for him.

“These two boys mean everything to me, and I’m thankful I have a bit of Blake still here with me.”

The photo has been liked more than 20,000 times.

“What an absolute treasure and special gift that is,” one person wrote. “A beautiful way for your son to remember his dad.”
