Christopher Biggins ‘To Be Paid Half' Of 'Celebrity Big Brother' Fee

'He had flouted the show’s rules by making offensive comments.'

Christopher Biggins is set to receive just half of his £100k fee for appearing on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ earlier this year, according to reports.

The showbiz veteran was ejected from the house early during the summer series, after making a series of controversial comments about bisexual people, as well as an anti-Semitic joke.

Months later, it’s now been revealed that Channel 5 bosses and Biggins have come to an agreement over his payment, with a source telling the Mirror: “The production company were under no breach of contract by not honouring his full fee.

Biggins kept a low profile after exiting the competition, and it was months before he appeared on our TV screens again, eventually popping up on ‘Good Morning Britain’ to discuss ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.

His return to the limelight came just two weeks after Ofcom ruled on the ‘CBB’ drama, deciding that Channel 5 should not be investigated for screening his comments about bisexuality.

‘CBB’ will return to our screens in January, with an ‘All Stars And New Stars’ special.
