This Woman Hasn't Cut Her Nails For 3 Years And We Have So Many Questions

*Shudders*

While a lot of people are partial to biting their nails, this woman has dedicated years to growing hers out.

Simone Christina, who has reportedly been growing out her nails for three years, hasn’t cut them since August 2014.

Now, at nearly six inches long, Christina has had to make a few changes to her daily life so she can keep them super long.

Apparently it takes her thre hours to paint them (and a whole lot of polish), and an hour-and-half to remove the nail varnish.

Christina spoke about the adjustments she’s had to make to keep her long nails:

“My nails are too long to hold a pen properly now.

“I have exams at the moment and it’s hard to write, after one hour of writing my hands really hurt.

“On the computer, I have to type using my knuckles,” she said.

Christina can no longer play sport either.

“Luckily, German schools don’t have dress codes, so they don’t cause any issues there.

“PE is a huge problem, though. I can’t play volleyball, basketball or anything similar.

“My PE teachers are always trying to convince me to cut my nails.

“They’ll never succeed in convincing me – but that makes my grades in PE really bad,” she said.

And many people are naturally inquisitive about cleanliness:

“Cleaning my teeth and using the toilet aren’t a problem.

“Funnily enough, a lot of people ask the toilet question when they see my nails for the first time.

“Showering is a bit more difficult. Sometimes my nails get caught in my hair, so I have to be extra careful,” she said.

Unsurprisingly, Christina, on average, goes through two bottles of nail varnish remover, cuticle oil, and hand cream per month.
