Aggie Cycles Kenya: Kisumu - Home!

The ride is over but this isn't the end of the journey! Today we transfer by road to Nakuru. to spend the night at Waterbuck Hotel. I can't wait to sleep in a bed and let what I've just done really sink in.

For those of you that haven't been keeping up to date with Aggie's blogs on the Huffington Post, the UK's favourite domestic fairy godmother currently finds herself in Kenya, undertaking a massive 400km cycle ride, all in the name of Women v Cancer.

All proceeds from this epic challenge, which is expected to be completed within just seven days, are to be split between three charities that are very important to Aggie.

Breast Cancer Care, Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action all provide invaluable support to the many thousands of women across the UK who are dealing with these all too common illnesses.

Aggie and the rest of the women taking part are aiming to raise as much money as possible for these organisations and all donations, no matter how small, go towards making a huge difference. If you'd like to support Aggie and Women v Cancer team, you can do so by clicking here.

Day 8: Saturday 5 November

Kisumu - Nakuru - approx 4 hours

The ride is over but this isn't the end of the journey! Today we transfer by road to Nakuru. to spend the night at Waterbuck Hotel. I can't wait to sleep in a bed and let what I've just done really sink in.

Day 9: Sunday 6 November

Nakuru - Nairobi

It's back to Nairobi today but not without a stop along the way. We had to choose between two very worthy causes to visit. The first was an elephant orphanage where orphaned calves are looked after and raised until they are ready to return to the wild in the Nairobi National Park.

The second was a visit to the Faraja project, to see the work Action for Charity does with a local cancer support project. Both are such worthy causes that I actually haven't made my mind up just yet but I know whichever I go for I'll be inspired by the dedication shown to help make the lives of others better.

Day 10: Monday 7 November

Nairobi - UK

Back to the UK today! Not looking forward to the flight back but I can't wait to share my wonderful experiences with everyone.
