Andrew White
Andrew is a writer, film-maker and broadcaster based in Yorkshire.

As the editor of the country’s only walking website with video walks and podcasts, Walks Around Britain, he has walked and visited most areas of the British Isles – and his love of railways means he’s often behind a steam engine soaking up the atmosphere.

A member of the Outdoor Writers’ and Photographers Guild, he regularly appears on radio and television to talk on walking, travel, railways and technology.

As a writer, he’s been featured in BBC Countryfile magazine, Lakeland Walker, Camping, Writer Magazine, Dalesman and Walk – the magazine of The Ramblers, and is now writing books for AA Publishing.

Amongst his current projects are devising a new long distance trail around his home of South Yorkshire and creating a new walking tick list like the Wainwrights but around the coast – as well as a couple of epic journeys involving visiting all the airports in the British Isles and travelling around the rail network of Britain in 14 days...
