She had a son, and then started a rural ISP with partner. Having been successful working for others, and now running her own company, she is determined to help develop the next cohort of entrepreneurial talent by sharing experience, knowledge, contacts and press exposure via the Young Woman of Business award (http://youngwomanofbusiness.co.uk). The Award seeks to encourage and support one entrepreneurial young woman every 6mths, and Annette would love to see this developing into a 'de facto' standard for all business people.
