Asher Minns is centre manager of the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, based at the University of East Anglia.

He is a science communicator who specialises in knowledge transfer of climate change research to audiences that are outside of academia.

He has 15 years experience of UK and international environmental sciences research, including ten years as a full-time communicator, and lectures on climate change communication in the UK and abroad. Asher is interdisciplinary with a humanities MSc in Science Communication and a science degree in Environmental Biology. His university career has spanned the Centre for Population Biology at Imperial College, London, the Environmental Change Institute at Oxford University, and the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research headquarters at the University of East Anglia.

His role at the Tyndall Centre involves engaging target audiences with climate change research, disseminating research results through the media and other channels, and offering evidence to UK, EU and international government bodies.
