Ashley Jensen is a Scottish actress, best known for her roles in the television series’ Ugly Betty in the US, and Extras in the UK. She is married to Terence Beesley, with whom she has a son. They currently live in Hollywood, California

Jensen starred as Maggie Jacobs in Extras alongside Ricky Gervais. For her work on the first series, she received best television comedy actress and newcomer awards at the 2005 British Comedy Awards. In 2006, Jensen received two British Comedy Awards and a BAFTA nomination for her role in Extras. Her role in the 2007 Christmas Special earned her an Emmy Award nomination. In September 2006, Jensen began her role as Christina McKinney on the television series Ugly Betty. She also starred as Jennifer Lore in the BBC comedy Nativity, released in cinemas on the 27 November 2009. In 2011, she voiced Nanette the frog in the animated production Gnomeo and Juliet. Jensen will also be voicing Bryony the Elf in the film Arthur Christmas which is to be released just before Christmas 2011.
