'Britain's Got Talent': Trip Hazard The Dog Gives The Most Charming Performance Of The Series

(0) Comments | Posted 26 May 2016 | (21:09)

It was a case of 'Jules and Matisse who?' was the latest 'Britain's Got Talent' dog act took to the stage on Thursday (26 May) night's semi final.

Pooch Trip Hazard and his owner Lucy gave the most charming performance of the series, as they made the public almost forget about last year's winning canine act.

The duo performed an adorable 'Beauty And The Beast' routine to the song 'Be Our Guest' from the classic Disney animation.

Trip and Lucy were highly praised by judges Simon Cowell, Amanda HoldenAlesha Dixon and David Walliams, who gave them a standing ovation.

Simon told them: "The whole country is going to fall in love with Trip, because I have. He’s an adorable little thing. Your relationship and the way you interact is very charming."

However, it wasn't quite enough to see them through to the final, as they lost out on a place to Jasmine Elcock and Craig Ball

They could still be made either the public or judges' wildcard act, though, with two more acts to be confirmed ahead of Saturday night's show.

'Britain's Got Talent' concludes on Saturday at 7.30pm on...

'Britain's Got Talent': Jasmine Elcock Rivals Beau Dermott As This Year's Best Child Act

(0) Comments | Posted 26 May 2016 | (19:43)

Jasmine Elcock gave Beau Dermott a serious run for her money as the best child act on this year's 'Britain's Got Talent', after another flawless performance.

The 14-year-old singer, who was picked as Ant and Dec's Golden Buzzer act during the auditions, wowed the judges as she appeared on Thursday (26 May) night's semi final.

Jasmine gave a beautiful rendition of Birdy's hit 'Wings', as she took to the stage in front of a giant pair of angel wings.

After her performance Simon remarked: This is good and bad. The bad part is their smug little faces. I really like you. You're not one of those powerhouse singers, what you've got is this incredible delicate control, which you don't get with young singers normally. Congratulations, that was fantastic."

Amanda added: "It was a beautiful, beautiful, controlled piece."

She had previously reduced Alesha Dixon and Ant McPartlin to tears, following her emotional version of Cher's 'Believe' in her audition

However, she was later caught up in a 'fix storm' when it was revealed she’d performed in a West End production of ‘Annie’ already.

A 'BGT' spokesperson later said:  “'Britain’s Got Talent' is open to anyone irrespective of their past experience and all acts are auditioned on merit on the day.”

Meanwhile, Beau, who was Amanda's Golden Buzzer act, has become one of the hot favourites to win the show after making it through to the final on Wednesday night

She impressed viewers and the panel alike with her rendition of 'Someone Like You' from the musical 'Jekyll And Hyde'.

She will compete alongside the likes of 100 Voices Of Gospel, Boogie Storm and Richard Jones in Saturday's grand finale.

'Britain's Got Talent' concludes on Saturday at 7.30pm on...

James Corden Nails Fleur East's 'Sax' Choreography, As She Performs On 'The Late Late Show'

(0) Comments | Posted 26 May 2016 | (12:23)

Fleur East's dance routine to 'Sax' is pretty hard to master (trust us, we've tried), but James Corden made it look effortless when he performed it on his US chat show.

The presenter joined Fleur on stage as she continued her assault on the US on Wednesday (25 May) night.

The 2014 'X Factor' runner up appeared as a musical guest on 'The Late Late Show', and during her performance James couldn't resist showing off his moves as he joined in with her troupe of dancers.

And we have to admit it, he nailed it.

It is Fleur's second appearance on US TV, as she attempts to launch her career Stateside.

Earlier in the week, she performed on the final of the American version of 'Strictly Come Dancing', 'Dancing With The Stars', and was met with a rapturous reception.

She's also scheduled to appear on breakfast programme, 'The Today Show', later this week.

'Sax' charted at number three in the UK charts when it was released in November last year, and has also achieved success in Mexico, The Netherlands, Costa Rica and Eastern Europe.

Victoria Derbyshire Shares Emotional Final Cancer Diary As Her Treatment Comes To An End

(0) Comments | Posted 26 May 2016 | (10:56)

Victoria Derbyshire has shared her last cancer video diary after finishing her treatment for the disease.

The BBC broadcaster struggled to conceal her emotions, having undergone her final session of radiotherapy for breast cancer.

She had previously undergone a mastectomy, and numerous rounds of chemotherapy, having been diagnosed with the disease in July 2015.

"It's Wednesday 25 May and I'm done - I'm done," a jubilant but emotional Victoria said in the video.

"That was my last radiotherapy session. Thirty sessions - five a week for the last six weeks - and it's finished. Wow, I can't believe it."

She continued: "Gosh, I'm so happy. Wow. I feel elated. I feel liberated. There are so many people I want to thank. And most of them work for the NHS."

Despite having to take the drug tamoxifen daily for the next five to 10 years to ward off the cancer from coming back again, she hopes "that is it... if all goes according to plan."

"On 31 July 2015 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. One mastectomy, six sessions of chemotherapy, 30 doses of radiotherapy later, I feel like this could be a fresh start," she said.

"And I know not everybody gets that opportunity. I am completely aware of that and so I am very grateful, exceptionally grateful.

"I want to say to you, if you are going through cancer treatment or you are about to go through cancer treatment: 'I'm sending you all my love and strength. Take it, have it. You can have it. Please do. And just keep going.'"

She added: "It's time to crack on with the rest of my life."

'Britain's Got Talent': Beau Dermott's Performance Of 'Someone Like You' Will Give You Goosebumps

(0) Comments | Posted 25 May 2016 | (19:48)

Amanda Holden swelled with pride as her Golden Buzzer act Beau Dermott gave another sensational performance on 'Britain's Got Talent'.

The 12-year-old gave a stand out rendition of 'Someone Like You' from the musical 'Jekyll And Hyde' as she competed in the fourth live semi final on Wednesday (25 May) night.

Beau was branded a "potential winner", as Simon Cowell claimed we'd witnessed the birth of a star.

Amanda remarked: "I’m so proud of you. That's a beautiful song. Your voice, I think, was even better than your actual audition, which I didn’t think you’d be able to do. I could not be more thrilled for you."

Simon added: "When I was sitting there watching you, it wasn’t the fact you’re 12-year-old with a good voice, you’ve just got an incredible voice. You choice of songs is impeccable, your performance skills are sensational.

"I guarantee you in about five or ten years time, we’re all going to look back to this period when we first saw you and say, ‘This is the moment we discovered a star.’ I can feel it."

Beau's original audition, where she sang ‘Defying Gravity’ from the musical ‘Wicked’, was so impressive that Amanda hit her Golden Buzzer, granting her an automatic place in this week's semi finals.

However, Beau was later at the centre of controversy when it was revealed she'd had experience on rival talent competition, 'Teen Star', and also had formal singing training.

A 'BGT' spokesperson spoke out to defend the young singer, who said she still suffers from nerves, stating: “Just because she has had singing lessons, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t get nervous when performing as was stated on the show.

“Adele, who is the biggest selling artist in the world, suffers from nerves when performing, so it’s not surprising to think that Beau would as well, especially given that she is a 12 year old schoolgirl.”

'Britain's Got Talent' continues tomorrow night at 7.30pm and 9.30pm on...
