Chief Executive of Badminton England, Chair of NGB CEO Forum

Adrian has been Chief Executive of Badminton England since 2006 and has led the modernisation and transformation of English Badminton through a long term vision focused on increasing participation and achieving medal success at World and Olympic level .
He also leads the GB Badminton Olympic programme on behalf of the four home nations.
Adrian has overseen bids for England to host the European Team Championships in 2009, European Individual Championships in 2010 and the World Championships in 2011, one of the most exciting pre-Olympic major event schedules in the UK and has seen this strategy drive considerable commercial success for Badminton England.
Most recently Adrian has spearheaded the introduction of the National Badminton League (NBL), a game-changing professional league which is televised live on Sky Sports and starts its second season in November 2015. He continues to remain passionate about increasing participation in all areas of the sport, including para-badminton and youth.
Prior to joining Badminton England, Adrian worked in local authority Sports Development and at Sports Coach UK before moving into National Governing Bodies, first with the Lawn Tennis Association and then at England Squash and Racketball.
He is a member of the Skills Active Board, the Milton Keynes Sports Board in is Chair of the NGB CEO Forum representing 39 sports.
