Over 5 decades, I've collected rather a lot of useful titles; the one I've fought for most is Writer. At a very young age I wrote my first story, printed and bound it and gave it to my Mum. She returned it to me many years later and it reminded me of what I love and who I wanted to become; an Author. I've since reinstated my focus.

5 years ago, I became a live-in Aunt and co-Guardian to the 10 year old Nephew of my partner. I quickly found out that Parenting is not easy, especially when the child is grieving for his biological Mum.

The years have been kind (of challenging) to me, and as this is how we learn, I've no complaints. Instead I'm taking the knowledge I've acquired and sharing it with whoever wants to hear or read it. This is how you'll get to know me - through my blog posts.
