A rare female role model in the male-dominated world of football, Annie is a Muslim coach with Leicester City Football Club and the first ever South Asian woman to get a level two coaching certificate from the Football Association. She is now working extremely hard to achieve the prestigious UEFA B license, as she is hoping become a full time coach at a professional club coaching elite players and one day would like to coach the England Women team.
She is passionate about training aspiring footballers and using football as a tool to break down social barriers & create community cohesion. She is empowering young women to follow their dreams & not allow other people's barriers to become their barriers.
