Founder and CEO, Jaro.com

Founder and CEO of Jaro.com, Anthony Farah is a proven commerical leader with an ability to innovate by converging the disciplines of technology, marketing and content. Anthony has harnessed his knowledge and entrepreneurial skills to create Jaro – the billion dollar global game for good. Jaro is a world-first, online gaming platform, which places control in the hands of its players, by letting them decide how to split the US$10 (£6.20) ticket price between charity and the prize pool - with the end goal of raising US$1 billion.

With over 20 years experience innovating in the digital Industry, Anthony has previously worked for brands including Telstra and IBM Global Services Australia before setting up his own muliti-discipline agency – Vivant – in 2008. Vivant pulls together skills in UX, technology, creative marketing and advertising to create leading mobile experiences. Anthony came up for the idea of Jaro in his 1988 High School Economics class after he recognised how collecting a little bit of money from a lot of people all over the world, to raise a really meaningful amount of money for charity, could change things for the better.

Jaro offers a new and engaging way for charities to tap into a more switched-on, socially aware and mobile audience, and has potential to be the biggest annual fundraising event in the world.
