Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade & Shadow Minister for International Climate Change, Labour MP for Brent North

Barry Gardiner MP is the Shadow Secretary of State for International Trade and Shadow Minister for International Climate Change. Under previous Labour governments, Barry served as the Minister for Competitiveness in the Department of Trade & Industry, the Minister for Biodiversity, as well as a Direct Rule Minister in the Northern Ireland Office. Barry served on Labour's front bench as the Shadow Minister for the Natural Environment and Fisheries and Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change before he was appointed to the Shadow Cabinet in June 2016 in his current position. He has been the Member of Parliament for Brent North since 1997.
